Explore the Local Area Around Crosbie Towers

Crosbie Towers is set on the edge of West Kilbride, a peaceful town along Scotland’s west coast. It’s the kind of location that gives you breathing space without feeling remote. The sea is close, the views are open and the essentials are all within easy reach.

Whether you’re here for weekends, school holidays or full-time residential living, the area around the park offers a mix of practical services and enjoyable places to spend time.

Everyday Essentials Close By

You don’t need to go far to find what you need. West Kilbride offers a range of local shops and services including a butcher, baker, pharmacist and convenience stores. There’s also a small supermarket, takeaway options and access to cash when needed.

Scottish Country Foods is nearby for fresh meat and vegetables. For something quick and easy, Regent Chinese takeaway is a firm favourite, and Eddie’s Taxi is well-known locally for getting around when needed. These small touches make a big difference to everyday life on the park.

Eating Out and Things to Do

For meals out, drinks or afternoon tea, there are a few local favourites worth mentioning. The Twa Dugs is a friendly pub in the town and Seamill Hydro offers hotel dining and leisure options, along with a great seafront location.

The Barony Centre in West Kilbride also hosts local exhibitions and community events throughout the year. It’s part of what gives the town a warm, lived-in feel. There’s always something going on if you want to get involved or explore a little more of the local culture.

Easy Travel and Transport Links

West Kilbride has a train station just a mile from the park, with regular services to Largs and Glasgow. There’s also a local bus service that runs from the town centre, and taxi services are available locally too. For owners who don’t drive, or just prefer not to, getting to and from the park is straightforward.

Many owners say that one of the biggest advantages of Crosbie Towers is that it feels like an escape, but it’s not far from anything. You can be at the coast, into town or back home in Glasgow within the hour.

Coming to Crosbie Towers Caravan Park is very special. We love how peaceful the family run park is, the warmth of the other caravan owners, we have made friends for life here. We look forward to every visit, enjoying the beautiful scenery throughout the changing seasons. We can feel our stress levels drop as we drive through the gates. The park is always well maintained and the owners and maintenance team take pride in doing so.
There are play areas for children of different ages and recently a new soft play area installed. There are laundry facitities and a club house that provide a warm atmosphere where families can come and play a variety of games, pool, air hockey etc and meet up with others and build those connections that keep bringing us all back time and time again.
Having purchased our lodge 4 years we love coming here. From the moment we drive up "The Avenue" you can feel the stress leave you. The location is perfect and the views over to Arran are amazing. We have made some really good friends here. It's a family run park and the grounds and gardens are well maintained. From our point of view we just love the peace and tranquility.
