Residential Park Home Living at Crosbie Towers

If you’re thinking about simplifying life and finding a quieter pace, Crosbie Towers offers a place to do just that. Our residential park homes are located in a separate part of the park, away from holiday caravans, and provide a permanent, peaceful setting for full-time living.

Set just outside West Kilbride on the Ayrshire coast, the park is well connected but feels private and relaxed. It suits those looking to downsize, reduce day-to-day stress and enjoy more time in calm, natural surroundings.

A Lifestyle That Slows Things Down

Many of our residents have chosen Crosbie Towers after years of city living, or once the family home became too much to manage. What they find here is space, simplicity and a fresh start in a more manageable home.

There’s no maintenance stress, no stairs to worry about and no pressure to keep up appearances. You still have your own garden, your own front door and full independence with less to worry about. It’s a place to slow down and enjoy life on your own terms, at your own pace.

Comfortable Park Homes in a Quiet Setting

Park homes at Crosbie Towers are single-level, well insulated and laid out with everyday living in mind. They’re suitable for all year round use and can be adapted to suit your needs, including for those with limited mobility.

Each home has its own defined plot, a private parking space and some outdoor space to enjoy as you wish. Interiors are bright, easy to heat and often much more spacious than people expect. Once you’ve settled in, it quickly begins to feel like home without the burdens that come with a larger property.

A Friendly Community, Your Own Space

Crosbie Towers is a residential-only environment for those over 50. It’s not a retirement village and there are no wardens or group activities. Instead, it’s a calm, well-managed setting where people value their space and share a similar outlook.

You’ll find a quiet community of neighbours who are respectful, welcoming and happy to stop for a chat. There's no fixed way to be part of life here. Whether you're sociable or more private, you'll find it easy to settle in and live how you choose.

A Park That’s Easy to Live In

Life in the residential area is simple by design. There are no overstated rules or constant interruptions - just a well-managed space where everything works as it should. Paths and shared areas are kept tidy, the grounds are maintained without fuss, and your home remains your own space to enjoy.

We don’t micromanage or overcomplicate things. Most residents say they appreciate how little they need to think about the park itself day to day, and how easy it is to settle into a calm, familiar rhythm.

Simple Park Home Ownership with Clear Terms

Buying a park home here is straightforward. You own the home outright, with a legal agreement known as a Written Statement giving you long-term rights to live on the pitch. It’s a secure form of tenure, and you’re free to sell your home in future if your plans ever change.

We’ve been a family-run park since 1972 and have long-standing residents who’ve been with us for decades. We’ll always explain the agreement clearly before any decision is made. You’ll know exactly what’s included, and we’ll be on hand to help you understand how it all works.

Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve answered the most common questions from prospective buyers in our Park Home FAQs section. These include what’s included in the pitch fee, how council tax works, the legal status of the home, and how the residential area is managed.

If you’re at the early stages of looking into park home living, it’s a helpful place to get practical answers before arranging a visit.

What Our Residents Say

People often say they wish they’d made the move sooner. Life feels calmer, more manageable and less expensive than maintaining a larger home. And there’s something about the setting that encourages a slower, more relaxed approach to everyday living.

There are play areas for children of different ages and recently a new soft play area installed. There are laundry facitities and a club house that provide a warm atmosphere where families can come and play a variety of games, pool, air hockey etc and meet up with others and build those connections that keep bringing us all back time and time again.
